Melinda Brooks

Melinda has her LUTCF designation from The American College and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. She has been an Insurance Agent since 1997 and strives to provide the best service for her clients, helping them determine the coverage levels they need and finding solutions to fit their needs and budgets.

Melinda is married to Ed Brooks and is also known in the Greenback community as the “twins’ mom” or “the Lively’s mom”. She is the proud Mom of twin boys, who are now Staff Sergeants in the US Army on active duty. She is Mamaw to 10 grandkids – 4 girls 6 boys- ages range from 1 month to 13 years old. Melinda is also very active in her church, Pine Grove Presbyterian in Greenback. She loves working with the kids and is a Sunday School teacher, Wednesday nights- Kids-Time teacher, assists with most of the kids’ activities, plays, and puppets, helps coordinate various mission projects and activities, and is the Chairperson for the ShoeBoxes 4 Soldiers Christmas care packages. The ShoeBoxes is a project that she has headed up since 2005 and is a passion for her. Together with the church – over 1400 packages have been sent to deployed troops around the world. She believes it is “Just a little something we can do for those who protect us here at home”. She is also a dog mom of an 8 lb chihuahua named Bugsy- who thinks he is human.

Patricia Heape

Patricia Heape has been with our Agency full-time since early 2015, gladly helping clients find the coverage they need for their budget. Pat has worked part-time for our agency for several years, before that, covering vacations and special needs in the office. She has worked hard to become a full-time agent and has learned many aspects of personal lines insurance and how to assist our customers with their insurance needs.

Pat was born and raised in Loudon County.  She is the mother of 2 grown kids. The mamaw of 6 boys, 2 girls, and another grandson due in March of 2018. She is a very proud Blue Star mom, with her son serving in the USAF and her son-in-law in the Army. Pat was also a military wife for 30 years to a very special soldier who was a member of the National Guard until his retirement in 2006. She has helped with the Shoe Boxes 4 Soldier project for several years.  She is also a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church where she sings in the choir and helps with the crafts for VBS and has since 2006. She is also a pet mom to 2 chihuahuas named Lady Bug and Odie and a Bird Dog named Spades and 2 Cats – Boo Boo and Miss Kitty.

Alexis Edwards

Alexis Edwards is our newest team member. She comes to us from Kroger (where she started with them at age 17); she was an Assistant Front-End Manager, Accountant, and fill in Store Manager, so we know her attention to detail is spot on. She has worked hard in the year since we have brought her on staff learning everything she can about insurance and how to best assist our customers. She takes pride in and is passionate about serving our clients and finding the best coverage to handle their current needs.

Alexis is the wife of a Truck Driver so she knows the challenges our Truckers face with their insurance first hand. She is also the mother of 2 beautiful ACTIVE girls who are 9 and 4. Caydence loves cross-country, soccer and basketball, and Autumn loves to watch Big Sis play and can’t wait until she is old enough to play as well. Being a sports mom keeps her super busy when she is not in the office. She is also the proud dog mom to a Basset Hound named Buster and a blue healer/beagle mix named Ted.  Alexis has also been involved with many charities over the years.  Some of these include Susan G. Komen, Children’s Miracle Network, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and United Way.
